Back at uOttawa!

The first week back at university is almost over and it has been a pleasure to be back. On Wednesday I had the pleasure of being back in my practicum with the kids at Maple Ridge. I had a busy day, teaching two science blocks and two gym classes. My science unit is going swimmingly, along with my Associate Teacher Mrs. Dudley, I've planned out an assignment that can continue under her supervision when I am not present, but the big ideas, lessons were delivered by myself. I also got to teach my first full gym class, from lesson plan to application. We played a modified version of kickball where the students can only use their feet, this builds upon a previous lesson where they learned the proper technique for kicking.

I'm very excited to be in great communities of learning both in practicum and in the academic setting at uOttawa. I'm continuing to learn and very excited to see where my professional practice leads me!
